Originally built as a '69 Torino for NASCAR racing by John Nissen and driven by J.C. Danielson - changed to a Mercury for aerodynamic reasons when the '70/'71 Montego/Cyclone body style was introduced: track record at Skagit Speedway in '72, 9th at Riverside in '73 … Began racing SCCA Super Production in '99 and NASA Super Unlimited in '06
Updated by Hall Fabrication & Racing with Robison chassis design in ’06, including 10" wheelbase reduction: space frame, 54% rear weight, long arm front suspension and adjustable Ford Cortina/Lotus 7 style rear suspension
