  • 7 finishes in 1971 as a Ford
  • 42 finishes during 1972, 1973 and 1974 as a Mercury. 23 top 10 finishes, 2 of which came in 1971 as a Ford (Las Vegas - 0.25 mile paved and Saugus, CA - one third mile paved)
  • 5 top 5 finishes: 3 in 1972 (Langley, B.C. - 0.25 mile paved, Mount Vernon, WA - 0.25 mile dirt, Clovis, CA - 0.50 mile dirt), 1 in '73 (Vancouver, B.C. - 0.375 mile paved), and 1 in '74 (Monroe, WA - 0.625 mile paved)

Other Highlights include:

  • Pole position, track record and fourth place finish at Skagit Speedway (quarter mile dirt), Mount Vernon, WA on July 4, 1972
  • Ninth place in 500 mile race at Riverside, California (2.62 mile road course) on January 23, 1973
  • Eighth place in 150 mile race at Laguna Seca, California (1.90 mile road course) on August 26, 1973 - after retiring with cut tire while battling for lead
